Know your rights in case of bankruptcy
Thomas Cook has declared bankruptcy as of September 23, 2019. Unfortunately, this means that Myflightrefund.com cannot process our active cases against the airline until we know more about the airline's situation.
In case of bankruptcy, we will no longer be able to claim compensation for our clients. All cases against the airline will therefore be closed. If that happens, our clients will regretfully lose the compensation they had been looking forward to. There will be no further financial consequences for our clients as Myflightrefund.com will cover the costs of the open lawsuits against Thomas Cook.
Will you be traveling with Thomas Cook in the near future?
If you purchased a trip through Thomas Cook or a travel agency owned by Thomas Cook and the airline goes bankrupt before or during your vacation, under the CAA’s Atol (Air Travel Organiser’s Licence) scheme, you are entitled to a full refund of your trip. If you are already on holiday, you have the right to be transported home. You can read more about your rights in case of bankruptcy here.
As soon as we have more information we will send an email to all clients with an open case against Thomas Cook.
